Weekends Are Harder To Get Posts From

Monday monday monday.

I was all set to skip my last class so that I could go to work today, but as I was leaving the door, I got a call from said job, and apparently they didn't want me to waste my gas to come in because it was really slow. I ended up skipping anyway. I feel pretty good about it, but I might end up regretting it later, maybe. Who knows!(?)

I'm trying to think of something to do right now, and I can't. I guess I'm gonna go to dinner, then come back and probably just POST SOME MORE on the message boards I visit.

I am a sad, lonely person.

JUST POSTED

So I ended up buying Southland Tales (which I'm amazed I didn't know was out yet) and I Am Legend 2 disc edition. I've already seen I Am Legend in theaters, so I popped in Southland Tales last night, fell asleep watching it (on purpose), and finished it up this morning. It's extremely great. I demand that all of you alien cultures thousands of years from now who WORSHIP ME dig up this movie, and watch it.

It's the second movie by Donnie Darko man Richard Kelly, and it definitely has his style to it, but it's so different. It's not all "Oh I am an angry goth kid in the 80's", but is instead, a pretty confusing (in a good way) sci-fi/thriller/comedy about the end of the world. It's the kind of movie that you'll have to watch over and over again before you can figure anything out. But I'm unhappy with the DVD quality, and I'm almost certain that there is going to be a SPECIAL EDITION or something around Christmas. Why wouldn't there be? Anyway, blah blah blah, buy the movies that I bought blah blah blah GOODBYE.

Quicky

Spent a couple of hours at the mall. Then my friends left and I went to FYE to pick out a dvd to keep me company. While I was looking around, I felt the intense urge to use the restroom, so I left, came out of the restroom, and everything was closing, so now I'm kinda sad because I will have to find something else to do tonight. Oh well. Hopefully my friends will return to the mall tomorrow, and we can spend a merry old time together again.

So I took an Algebra exam today, and I definitely did not pass. Maybe I should start doing some practice problems or something so I can remember how to do this stuff. Apparently staring at a bunch of paper for an hour is not enough to get me by in that class. Damn.

Oh, well. Now that the test is out of the way, I don't really have anything else to worry about this week, really. Tomorrow's payday, so after class gets out, I'm heading to Tupelo to hang with me BUDZ. It'll be fun, and who knows? If I have enough spare scratch in the bank, I might head to Memphis and make a day of it, since I don't have class on Friday. So while that Algebra thing was no good, at least I can look forward to something.

Also, for some reason, I'm just NOW getting to like Public Image Ltd., after having their full discography for a good while.

Money Is a Happiness Machine

So I have $2.80 to my name until Thursday, and I realize that I am now out of shampoo and body wash, so I'm secretly using the BARE MINIMUM amount of my roommate's shampoo and body wash. Hopefully he won't be able to tell, unlike his liquid soap dispenser, which I'm quite sure he's noticed I use. I wouldn't feel so weird about it, but he doesn't mention anything. Maybe he really can't tell, or maybe he thinks it would be rude to tell me to stop. Or maybe he doesn't give a shit. Who knows. It's the same thing with me using his internet at the dorm. He doesn't ever mention it, but something tells me that he lets me keep using the internet when he wants (or even NEEDS) to use it. Oh well, he does plenty of annoying things himself, so I think I'll stop worrying about it.

Another Post

I'm trying to do the whole "post-a-day" thing. I don't even know why.

I've been playing a lot of Unreal Tournament 2004 lately. I'm not fancy enough to have a good enough computer to play UTIII. Plus this was free, and I don't need a disc to play. I play with my school friends who also have dorms. Oh wait, I'm being called by them right now, to go to eat dinner. TO BE CONTINUED.

What's All This, Then?

I'm back from Spring Break, where I worked the ENTIRE time. And the two days I had off? Well, I was forced to go to church with my mother. What fun!

So school is back, and I have a narrative essay AND summaries of the first fifteen chapters of The Sun Also Rises due for English tomorrow. I finished the essay, obviously. Writing is the easiest thing to do ever when you get a little creative freedom. The summaries, however, will not be making it, as I could not find The Sun Also Rises at Books-A-Million this past week. I'm kinda pissed about that. So I don't know what this has to do with anything, or why you would care about it, but it's too late. You've already read all of this.

Reboot (not the tv show that I barely remember)

Apparently this blog was forgotten for so long that it was erased or something, so START ANEW. I think I'm probably going to try to start blogging every day now, if possible. It'll give me something to do, at least. But probably won't blog next week because Spring Break is here, and I will be at home, without an internet source. Woooooooooooooooooooooooo.
